Next Sunday, March 14th, we will move our clocks ahead for Daylight Savings time. Yes, that means we will all lose an hour of sleep. But, it also means warmer weather is on its way!

Many folks are dropping their landlines in favor of having only cellphone service. You can pick up a list of the current Text-Em-All phone numbers at the Information Center to add to your church directory. If your number is not included and you would like it to be, please contact the church office.

Next Sunday we will set aside time in our service to focus on the work of Compassion International. We will hear a short message from those responsible for the work in Honduras where Alejandro lives. So kids, don’t forget your mission banks next week!

Today Koinonia will begin a video based study called In the Dust of the Rabbi. Each lesson stands on its own and requires no workbook. If you have been thinking about seeing what the Koinonia discipleship group is all about, this would be the perfect time to jump in! The group meets downstairs in the cafeteria directly after the morning service for a simple meal. After the meal, there is a time of study and fellowship which wraps up sometime after 1:00 pm.

We are once again bringing to your attention the podcast from GraceLife Church of Edmonton entitled “FULL SERMON - GraceLife Church (Romans 13:1-4) ‘Directing Government to its Duty’" (YouTube, Feb 15, 2021).

Canadian pastor, James Coates, a graduate of The Master’s Seminary, was recently arrested for holding church despite a government mandate to limit church capacity to 15% due to COVID. Was he in violation of Romans 13 or was he in obedience to it? Perhaps his sermon will help answer the question.
