The Annual Church Meeting will be held today following the service. We will take a short break to allow the members to sign in. Then, we will reassemble in the sanctuary. You need not be a member to attend the meeting, but you must be an active member to vote. There will no potluck today because of the annual meeting. The Koinonia Group will also not be meeting this evening.

Thank you to those who have contributed to The Ripley Church Benevolence Fund. By doing so, you have helped a struggling family within our congregation, the Mungers, pay for medical treatment. May God bless your generosity.

If you were unable to attend the recent fundraiser for the Barman family but wish to donate toward their medical expenses, you can do so by sending your contribution to:

Kurt & Elaine Barman
1610 8th Street
Harlan, IA 51537

Pray for both Wendy Munger and Elaine Barman as they proceed with their cancer treatments.

Saturday, November 17th, join Hazel Willett and Sharon Beck at 10:00 a.m . for coffee (or drink of your choice) at McDonalds in Norwalk near the hospital.
Operation Christmas Child boxes will soon make their way south to be readied for overseas shipping. For a donation of $6 per box, you can cover the cost of the discipleship material made available by Samaritan’s Purse. Mark your donation: OCC.
We will once again collect hats, gloves, and scarves. These ‘warm and fuzzy’ items will be donated to Christmas Castle, through the Salvation Army, Greenwich Service Unit. Sizes new-born to adult are needed. New and lightly used coats will also be accepted. We will also support the Christmas Castle program. Look for the Angel Tags to arrive in the next several weeks. They will be on display at the Information Center.
On Friday, November 23rd, the Greenwich Service Unit of the Salvation Army would like the help of The Ripley church as it kicks off its Christmas kettle drive at the Dollar General. Please consider supporting this local ministry by donating your change, writing a check, or by signing up to be a bell ringer. You will find a sign-up sheet for bell ringers at the Information Center. Thank you!
